The majority of our communication was held through emails, and a few times through phone calls. Several of the business representatives I am in fairly constant contact with as they donate time and services to the school for the Sports Medicine Program.
We had Academy Faculty and Students represent the SS/EMS Academy at the County High School Showcase in January to meet with parents, field questions and discuss their experiences with prospective students. We also had our Academy president (a junior), speak to the parents and incoming freshmen about the SS/EMS Academy during Pine Ridge High School's Future Freshmen night. That same night we had 4 faculty members and 10 students, all in uniform, present to answer questions and raise interest in our program to these new students.

They have come to assist the Athletic trainers at sporting events , and have also been invited to and attended the homecoming game "Academy Tailgate," as well as the end of the year banquet where they speak to parents and students about how the academy helped them in their current career choices.
